Day 4 at Children’s Hospital
Kennedy slept all night without tylanol…results from CT scan came in negative, blood work from yesterday came back with no worst results and they did updated lab work this morning. Looks like antibiotics are working well and we are getting closer to taking her home. She is still some what constipated which could have caused the UTI. They will continue to treat the UTI and clean her out to get more bowel movements.
What have I learned from all this? Never take anything or anyone for granted because as they say, “life is short” you never know when it comes to an end. This life as we know is on borrowed time until the good Lord returns. We should not be so busy that we miss out on that matters most.
Our families, children and those are us that we consider true friends is what matters. When situations like this come around that’s when we are able to literally shut the world around us off.
I want to personally thank all of you who have been praying for Kennedy this entire week. We will be here at least one more night and hopefully have her back home tomorrow.
God bless you!
Day 3 at Childrens

Another day, all imaging tests have been exhausted and everything thus far has come in negative. The bone scan was negative, although a great thing it still leaves us with no answers.
This morning they drew more blood and have asked more specialist to join the team to have a more indepth look into her blood.(Dr just walked in)
On the positive side after meeting with dr labs are better, inflammatory parts have decreased. Its appears as if she may have a UTI so they are going to treat that with antibiotics and see if we get a favorable response.
So all in all she’s getting better and hopefully the antibodies will provide postive response. Dr is still stumped as to the unknown. Its seems like the unknown maybe a good thing.
Looks like we will be here another night and see what happens over the next 24 hours.
Thank you again for all of your prayers and support.
Day 2 at Childrens

Well little by little we are moving forward and getting closer to diagnose what’s wrong with Kennedy. Dr’s are eliminating all the possibilities and attempting to pin point the root issue.
Last night she had her ultra sound which has shown some inflamation in her bladder. Today she had part 1 of her bone scan and in the next couple hours complete the rest of her body.
Looks like we will remain here through the weekend but still unsure. On a personal note I’ve realized how important, no matter how difficult or emotionally tough a situation is you need to still take care of yourself. People that don’t take care of themselves don’t understand this. Even through this emotional time I have still been training and sticking to my diet. Its been hard no doubt but what good am I too my daughter if I’m an emotional wreck. I have found that the gym is a place to release all baggage and rebuild myself, the diet is a certanty that maintains my health, sanity and makes me feel overall great. Gyms are all over and I was fortunate that Gold’s Gym Hollywood is 2 miles away.
Anyways for those following my workouts enjoy this killer leg workout from yesterday.

What Matters?
Too many people put off something that brings them joy just because they haven’t thought about it, don’t have it on their schedule, didn’t know it was coming or are too rigid to depart from their routine.
I got to thinking one day about all those people on the Titanic who passed up dessert at dinner that fateful night in an effort to cut back. From then on, I’ve tried to be a little more flexible.
How many women out there will eat at home because their husband didn’t suggest going out to dinner until after something had been thawed? Does the word ‘refrigeration’ mean nothing to you?
How often have your kids dropped in to talk and sat in silence while you watched ‘Jeopardy’ on television?
I cannot count the times I called my sister and said , ‘How about going to lunch in a half hour?’ She would gas up and stammer, ‘I can’t. I have clothes on the line. My hair is dirty. I wish I had known yesterday, I had a late breakfast, It looks like rain’ And my personal favorite: ‘It’s Monday.’ She died a few years ago. We never did have lunch together.
Because Americans cram so much into their lives, we tend to schedule our headaches.. We live on a sparse diet of promises we make to ourselves when all the conditions are perfect!
We’ll go back and visit the grandparents when we get Steve toilet-trained. We’ll entertain when we replace the living-room carpet. We’ll go on a second honeymoon when we get two more kids out of college.
Life has a way of accelerating as we get older. The days get shorter, and the list of promises to ourselves gets longer. One morning, we awaken, and all we have to show for our lives is a litany of ‘I’m going to,’ ‘I plan on,’ and ‘Someday, when things are settled down a bit.’
When anyone calls my ‘seize the moment’ friend, she is open to adventure and available for trips. She keeps an open mind on new ideas. Her enthusiasm for life is contagious. You talk with her for five minutes, and you’re ready to trade your bad feet for a pair of Rollerblades and skip an elevator for a bungee cord.
My lips have not touched ice cream in 10 years. I love ice cream. It’s just that I might as well apply it directly to my stomach with a spatula and eliminate the digestive process. The other day, I stopped the car and bought a triple-decker. If my car had hit an iceberg on the way home, I would have died happy.
Now…go on and have a nice day. Do something you WANT to…not something on your SHOULD DO list. If you were going to die soon and had only one phone call you could make, who would you call and what would you say? And why are you waiting?
Make sure you read this to the end; you will understand why I sent this to you.
Have you ever watched kids playing on a merry go round or listened to the rain lapping on the ground? Ever followed a butterfly’s erratic flight or gazed at the sun into the fading night? Do you run through each day on the fly? When you ask ‘How are you?’ Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done, do you lie in your bed with the next hundred chores running through your head? Ever told your child, ‘We’ll do it tomorrow.’ And in your haste, not see his sorrow? Ever lost touch? Let a good friendship die? Just call to say ‘Hi’?
When you worry and hurry through your day, it is like an unopened gift….Thrown away…. Life is not a race. Take it slower. Hear the music before the song is over.
‘Life may not be the party we hoped for… but while we are here we might as well dance.’
If this had an impact on you please Pay it Forward and pass it on!

It all Starts with a VISION!
When you have vision, you have a path. When you have desire, you have emotional fire. When you have a dream, you have belief. When you set your goal, you now have direction. When you must confront the fear of loosing everything you’ve worked for but still won’t let go, YOU NOW HAVE PASSION. WINNING IS MORE THEN STANDING ON THE THRONE. IT’S ENDURING THE TESTS OVER TIME…..BUILD YOUR BEAST. –

Have you ever wondered how the Rocky story really came about? Well here’s your chance to hear it from Sylvester Stallone’s good friend Tony Robbins.
My Resolution

Twitter top topic is #myresolution. People are moved, motivated and inspired to start the new year off right. Question is why don’t they stay motivated?
The simple answer to that question is called the PAIN/PLEASURE principle taught by Tony Robbins. Basically, what do you associate things too? If you associate pain to working out, and I’m not talking physical pain but the (man do I really need to go kind) you will find yourself not going because the pain to go far out weighs the pleasure in going.
Another example, take women…honestly who the heck wants to get up, take a shower, fix the hair then put on your make up? That set up everday can take a minimum of an hour of your day. But the pleaure most women place of the finished product of looking good, attractive, getting those daily compliments far out weighs the pain or time they put into the event.
Eating same thing, most people find more pleasure in eating something they know is bad for you because the simlple thought of a diet is far to painful.
So what’s the solution. Honestly its simple, easy, you can change today. Make today that day that definds you. Start with what is called R.P.M that’s stands for results, plan and massive action. Find the result you want, if its in transforming your body then think of what you would look like in a smaller size dress, smaller waiste, whatever the case is. Then once you have the result in mind then design a plan and take massive action. You can’t view the plan before you are concreate with you final outcome. Get pictures of what you want the outcome to look like. For me I wanted to have the look of the Rock, Dwayne Johnson so that’s what I was focusing on. Since then that has changed but to associate the pleasure in having a 6’3 240lb lean look moved me everyday. The pain to get fat or go where I came from far out weighs the pleasure in eating crappy food.
Take this blog for what it is and apply it to any part of your life. Much success to you!

Never Quit!!!!
Never quit and never give up no matter what adversities come your way. Press on and fight through, no excuses.
Many are called but few are Chosen!
This was written by my trainer/nutritionist and friend Anthony(Tony) Racanelli moving and inspiring…To talk to Tony click here
MY PERSPECTIVE : I if I was in a classroom and asked by show of hands how many in the room want to be the best they can be? Everyone would raise their hands. If I asked by show of hands how many want to fail.. None would raise their hand.
If you then inventoried their habits, you’d probably find they’ll all fall short of their goals due to either lack of discipline, work ethic, procrastination or low self-worth.
Many are called but the chosen are few. A quote from Scriptures. To be part of the few, one must vision, commitment, discipline and follow thru. You must be willing to pay the price. That means giving up the things you like that sabotage your goals. Lastly, one must face their fear, whatever that may be.
I’m sure if a family member needed your or one of your best girls needed your support, you wouldn’t let them down.
My question to you is if you’re that reliable, why would you let yourself down? Most people do, let themselves down.
