Fitness Evangelist ready to spread the word to Corp America.

Being an x Vice President at J.P Morgan Chase I understand the importance of employees calling in sick. The ramifications is not only paying the sick time, the overtime or worst of all providing a BAD customer experience. With today’s economy what makes one company stand out over another is a GREAT customer experience, hence why Chase is spending millions changing there reputation. Now in my case I ran a small branch with many affluent customers; I had five tellers (two in school). I never had five scheduled on same day, so if I had one teller on vacation and one call in sick our branch and customers were in put in a bad position. I was unable to call someone else in from another branch because our teller budget didn’t allow it.

One day I had one of my bankers who was sick every month. Now one way to get terminated is attendance however this employee truly was sick. One day my district manager was in my branch and I ran the scenario by her, she responded “when is the last time you were sick?” That is when it dawned on me that the average employee, with there day to day activities, family life, and normal life stress eat whenever and whatever time permits. The end result, sick employees = bad expenses and a bad customer experience which = loss REVENUE!

What I am getting at is if we can educate our employees and teach them how to eat properly and exercise regularly our sick time would be drastically minimized. My plan is to help you save money and enable you to provide that GREAT customer experience.

My dilemma before I transformed my physique (click here for full story) was that I needed everything simple and easy. So through trial and error I have done that. My daily routine was workout out before work, return home and cook my meals and head to work. Now that may not work for everyone but there are alternatives in which I can share and teach. Believe me everything is possible with the right attitude and desire. Even for the traveling executive it is possible. For that testimony click here on my business trip to Ohio last year.

It all Starts with a VISION!

When you have vision, you have a path. When you have desire, you have emotional fire. When you have a dream, you have belief. When you set your goal, you now have direction. When you must confront the fear of loosing everything you’ve worked for but still won’t let go, YOU NOW HAVE PASSION. WINNING IS MORE THEN STANDING ON THE THRONE. IT’S ENDURING THE TESTS OVER TIME…..BUILD YOUR BEAST.  –

My Resolution

Twitter top topic is #myresolution. People are moved, motivated and inspired to start the new year off right. Question is why don’t they stay motivated?

The simple answer to that question is called the PAIN/PLEASURE principle taught by Tony Robbins. Basically, what do you associate things too? If you associate pain to working out, and I’m not talking physical pain but the (man do I really need to go kind) you will find yourself not going because the pain to go far out weighs the pleasure in going.

Another example, take women…honestly who the heck wants to get up, take a shower, fix the hair then put on your make up? That set up everday can take a minimum of an hour of your day. But the pleaure most women place of the finished product of looking good, attractive, getting those daily compliments far out weighs the pain or time they put into the event.

Eating same thing, most people find more pleasure in eating something they know is bad for you because the simlple thought of a diet is far to painful.

So what’s the solution. Honestly its simple, easy, you can change today. Make today that day that definds you. Start with what is called R.P.M that’s stands for results, plan and massive action. Find the result you want, if its in transforming your body then think of what you would look like in a smaller size dress, smaller waiste, whatever the case is. Then once you have the result in mind then design a plan and take massive action. You can’t view the plan before you are concreate with you final outcome. Get pictures of what you want the outcome to look like. For me I wanted to have the look of the Rock, Dwayne Johnson so that’s what I was focusing on. Since then that has changed but to associate the pleasure in having a 6’3 240lb lean look moved me everyday. The pain to get fat or go where I came from far out weighs the pleasure in eating crappy food.

Take this blog for what it is and apply it to any part of your life. Much success to you!

What we choose to do has consequences! Leave Nothing to Chance!

It doesn’t matter what you want to excel in, whether it’s fitness, business or family life what you choose to do has consequences either good or bad, leave nothing to chance. Make wise choses and make those choses that are condusive to your goals. If fitness, don’t go out drinking or staying up late the night before because then you will make a bad choice and not train. Remember “a few simple disciplines repeated daily produce SUCCESS” and a few simple errors in judgment produce FAILURE” and if you do fail LEARN from it and move forward. Don’t be Insane. The definition of insanity is repeating the same thing over and over expecting a different result!

Many are called but few are Chosen!

This was written by my trainer/nutritionist and friend Anthony(Tony) Racanelli moving and inspiring…To talk to Tony click here

MY PERSPECTIVE : I if I was in a classroom and asked by show of hands how many in the room want to be the best they can be? Everyone would raise their hands. If I asked by show of hands how many want to fail.. None would raise their hand.

If you then inventoried their habits, you’d probably find they’ll all fall short of their goals due to either lack of discipline, work ethic, procrastination or low self-worth.

Many are called but the chosen are few.  A quote from Scriptures. To be part of the few, one must vision, commitment, discipline and follow thru. You must be willing to pay the price. That means giving up the things you like that sabotage your goals.  Lastly, one must face their fear, whatever that may be.

I’m sure if a family member needed your or one of your best girls needed your support, you wouldn’t let them down.

My question to you is if you’re that reliable, why would you let yourself down? Most people do, let themselves down.

Do it today, tomorrow is always coming but never arrives. – Tony Racanelli
