My Resolution

Twitter top topic is #myresolution. People are moved, motivated and inspired to start the new year off right. Question is why don’t they stay motivated?
The simple answer to that question is called the PAIN/PLEASURE principle taught by Tony Robbins. Basically, what do you associate things too? If you associate pain to working out, and I’m not talking physical pain but the (man do I really need to go kind) you will find yourself not going because the pain to go far out weighs the pleasure in going.
Another example, take women…honestly who the heck wants to get up, take a shower, fix the hair then put on your make up? That set up everday can take a minimum of an hour of your day. But the pleaure most women place of the finished product of looking good, attractive, getting those daily compliments far out weighs the pain or time they put into the event.
Eating same thing, most people find more pleasure in eating something they know is bad for you because the simlple thought of a diet is far to painful.
So what’s the solution. Honestly its simple, easy, you can change today. Make today that day that definds you. Start with what is called R.P.M that’s stands for results, plan and massive action. Find the result you want, if its in transforming your body then think of what you would look like in a smaller size dress, smaller waiste, whatever the case is. Then once you have the result in mind then design a plan and take massive action. You can’t view the plan before you are concreate with you final outcome. Get pictures of what you want the outcome to look like. For me I wanted to have the look of the Rock, Dwayne Johnson so that’s what I was focusing on. Since then that has changed but to associate the pleasure in having a 6’3 240lb lean look moved me everyday. The pain to get fat or go where I came from far out weighs the pleasure in eating crappy food.
Take this blog for what it is and apply it to any part of your life. Much success to you!
